The Cookie Bar displays a banner informing customers that your store uses cookies. Once a customer accepts, the banner will be hidden for that customer. This helps your store comply with GDPR and European cookie regulations.

1. How to install the Cookies Bar extension?

You can easily add the extension by clicking Install now. If you no longer need it, simply click Uninstall to remove it. Once installed, continue reading below to learn how to set it up and make the most of its features.

There are two ways to access the Cookies Bar extension:

  • From the Dashboard: Go to CRO Extensions to find and install the Cookies Bar extension.

  • From the Editor: Open the Elements panel → Extensions to find and install the Cookies Bar extension.

On the Extension popup, you can see the Cookies Bar extension. Click Install now to install it the right way.

2. Cookies Bar settings

You can customize how the cookie notice looks and appears on your store. You can adjust its content, position, colors, icon, button style, and more to match your store’s design.

2.1 General
  • Enable cookie bar: Allows you to turn on or turn off this extension.
  • Primary background: Choose the background color for the cookie bar.
  • Content Color: Change the text color of the content.
  • Content: Add your Cookie Bar message and format the text, such as bold text or links.
  • Allow: Customize the text displayed on the button customers use to accept cookies.
  • Position: Choose where the Cookie Bar appears on the page.
  • Alignment: Set the alignment of the Cookie Bar content.
  • Max Width: Set the maximum width of the Cookie Bar. Reset this value to use a full-width layout when positioned at the top or bottom.
  • Overlay: Add an overlay behind the Cookie Bar to make it stand out from the page content.

Note: When you enable the extension, it will be shows on all pages on your store.

2.2 Icon
  • Use Uploaded Image: Upload and use your own image instead of the default icon.
  • Icon/Image Width: Adjust the width of the icon or uploaded image.
  • Icon Color: Choose the color of the default icon.

You can set the style for the cookie bar for Content, Button, Button color, and Button background
