An Order Note allows customers to leave additional comments or special instructions when placing an order, such as delivery preferences, gift messages, or other requests. Its purpose is to provide extra information that helps ensure the order is processed according to the customer’s specific needs.

1. Add the Order Note Element to your Cart page

To add an Order Note element to your cart page, please open the Elements panel => Cart => Order Note and drag the element to the place you want.

There are two options to change the text for the element:

Order note label: The Order note title can be changed to fit your preferences.
Order note placeholder: You can change the order note field to help the consumer realize where to add the note.

2. How to style for the Order Note Element

2.1 General

You can adjust the Background, Box Shadow, Border, and Border Radius of the entire Order Note element.

2.2 Label

In the Label category, you can style the heading above the note field via Alignment, Typography, Text Color, and Spacing settings.

2.3 Input

In this category, you can adjust the note field as well as the note placeholder you set in the Content tab. There are settings, such as Text Alignment, Alignment, Typography, Color, Color placeholder, Width and Spacing. Under the Normal and Focus tabs, there are Background, Box shadow, Border, and Border Radius settings that allow you to adjust the field in states.
