Trust Badge

Trust Badge is an element in EComposer that helps merchants display trust‑building visuals on product pages, such as security badges, payment method icons, certifications, or selling guarantees (for example: Secure Checkout, Free Shipping, Money‑Back Guarantee).

By clearly communicating credibility and reassurance, Trust Badge helps increase customer confidence, reduce hesitation, and improve conversion rates.

2.1.Content Settings

Choose Image

You can fully manage the Trust Badge image:

• Upload / Change Image: Upload a new Trust Badge image or replace the existing one.
• Delete Image: Remove the image if it is no longer needed.
• Alt Text: Edit alternative text to improve SEO and accessibility.

Available Content Options

• Crop Size: Adjust the image size using preset options, or select Custom to define your own dimensions.
• Link: Choose the form of connection as a Link to add to the trust badge image. There are three options. None, Media File, and Custom URL are all options. When customers click on the image, the Media file option allows them to open the image file. You can add a specific link to the trust badge image using the Custom URL option.
• Enable Overlay: Add a text overlay on top of the Trust Badge image. The overlay content can be sourced from Alt Text or entered manually using Custom Title.
• Open in lightbox: When enabled, the image opens in a larger lightbox view after being clicked.
• Use image caption: Display a caption below the Trust Badge image to add more context.

• Alignment: Left, Center, or Right.
• Width / Max Width / Height: Control image dimensions.
• Image Fit: Define how the image fits within its container.

If Overlay is enabled, you can customize its appearance using:

• Opacity: Overlay transparency level.
• Text Shadow: Add shadow to overlay text.
• Text Color: Text color settings.
• Background Color: Overlay background color.
• CSS Filter: Advanced visual effects for the overlay.

3. Usage Tips

• Use simple and recognizable icons to communicate trust quickly.
• Avoid overcrowding—3 to 5 Trust Badges are usually enough.
• Keep Trust Badge styles consistent with your store’s overall design.
• Focus on badges that matter most to your audience (security, shipping, returns).
