How to duplicate a page/template?
This guide will help you duplicate a page or template created in EComposer when you want to reuse an existing design. By duplicating a page/template, you can quickly create a copy and customize it without affecting the original one.
1. Duplicate a Standard/Landing Page
If you want to duplicate a Standard or Landing page created in EComposer, please follow the steps below.
Option 1: Duplicate the page from the EComposer dashboard
- From your Shopify admin, open Apps > EComposer Builder.
- Go to Pages & Templates.
- Select the Landing & Pages tab.
- Find the page you want to duplicate.
- Click the More button
...next to that page. - Choose Duplicate.

Option 2: Duplicate the page from the Page Navigator
- Open the page in the EComposer editor.
- Open the Page Navigator.
- Go to Pages.
- Find the page you want to duplicate.
- Click the Duplicate icon.

2. Duplicate a Template such as Homepage, Product, Collection, Blog, etc.
The steps are similar for all template types, including Homepage, Product, Collection, Blog, and other templates.
Option 1: Duplicate the template from the EComposer dashboard
- From your Shopify admin, open Apps > EComposer Builder.
- Go to Pages & Templates.
- Select the template type you want to duplicate, such as Home, Product, Collections, Blogs, or another relevant tab.
- Find the template you want to duplicate.
- Click the More button
...next to that template. - Choose Duplicate.
Example :
For example, if you want to duplicate a product template, open the Product tab, find the template, click the More button ..., and select Duplicate.

Option 2: Duplicate the template from the Page Navigator
- Open the template in the EComposer editor.
- Open the Page Navigator.
- Select the template type you want to manage.
- Find the template you want to duplicate.
- Click the Duplicate icon.

3. Important Notes When Duplicating Pages/Templates
- The duplicated page/template is created as a separate copy, so changes made to the duplicated version will not affect the original one.
- After duplicating a template, you may need to assign it to the correct products, collections, blogs, or other Shopify resources.
- If you duplicate a default template, the duplicated version will not automatically become the default template unless you assign it manually.
