How to create a Password/Coming soon page?

A pre-launch page, often known as a coming soon page, is a landing page where you can drive users to learn more about your company or product, pique their attention (and perhaps collect the information from your newest users, such as their emails/ contact phone and so on), and persuade them to help you extend your reach before you start.

1. Activate Shopify password

The Password page will only be shown when you enable the Password protection option in your store admin. From Shopify Admin -> Online Store -> Preferences -> Set up a password -> Save

Then, you go to EComposer App Settings -> Store details -> Storefront password -> Fill in the correct password you just generated above.

2. Build a new Coming soon/Password page

Note: Usually Shopify theme provides only one page in your store. EComposer default coming soon page will overwrite your current one in your theme and the changes you made will apply to your store.

From App dashboard –> Page & Templates –> Coming soon/ Password

There are 2 ways for you to start building a Password page.

The first way: Click on Explore Library -> Pick layout -> Insert now to use that.
The second way: Choose a structure first, and then drag any elements from the left slider bar to configure.

Note: Make sure this option is enabled if you want to publish your new footer to the Live store

3. How to restore the original Shopify Coming Soon page?

First, let’s unpublish the Coming soon template by disabling this option.

Next, you go back to the App Dashboard -> Coming soon/ Password as you created it, and click the Restore button. All done.

4. How to Remove a Password/Coming Soon Page?

To delete a Coming soon template in EComposer, please go to App dashboard -> Page & Templates -> Coming soon/ Password -> Hover to the three dots -> Remove button.
